Neville's second book "Iron Man" was inspired by a couple who were elders in the church in Penang where Neville pastored. "Iron Man" published in 2002, related the story of Neville's conversion in prison, from a hard-core criminal to a redeemed child of God. More than 10,000 copies were sold. Now in this sequel, "The New Iron Man"' Neville continues with his life story -- from his release from prison to this present day. Here you will find the author's open-heart sharing of the many trials, temptations, disappointments and setbacks he has faced in his life, which he has described as "not an easy road". Neville hopes that the life lessons he has learnt, retold in this book, will be a source of encouragement to all readers, both believers and those seeking to know God. Neville Tan was born in April 1940. His life story is one of God's amazing grace. When everyone around him had given up hope on him, God rescued him from the brink of eternal condemnation and showed him the way to salvation and a life of faith in Christ. After his release from prison, Neville went on to graduate from the Singapore Bible College and founded the Church of God (Evangelical) Singapore in Bedok, where he continues to serve as the Founding Senior Pastor and Counsellor. For more than 30 years, Neville has helped many juvenile delinquents and troubled youths. He and his wife Anne have three children.
